COVID-19 Protocols

At C&V Shipping, our culture is built on caring about people – our team and you. As Guyana and the world continue to fight the coronavirus pandemic, we do our part by following Public Health Guidelines and ensuring that COVID-19 protocols are in place to keep everyone safe.

What to do and expect when you come to our office?

  • Always wear a mask and remember to follow social distancing by maintaining at least 6 feet distance between you and anyone else.
  • Use the hand-washing station outside our office.
  • You will also have access to hand sanitizer at the front door to use after handling pens or documents.
  • Our front door has been replaced by a screen and a slot has been constructed for customers to conduct their business. This protects you and our team handling your business.
  • If you need a reminder of these steps, look for posters with easy to follow steps on washing your hands, social distancing, and other safety actions.

What to do and expect when we come to you for delivery?

  • Our delivery staff with sanitize their hands before handling your package and will wear masks always.
  • Wear your mask and stay 6 feet away from the person bringing the package to your entrance or into your yard.
  • We will deposit your package and any document that requires your signature in a spot indicated to us and step back to allow you to sign.
  • If we are required to step inside a building to deposit your package, our delivery team will sanitize their shoes and wear gloves.
  • Feel free to sanitize your package as you prefer before handling.
